I am learning vocabulary because so that I can . . . a. Demonstrate an understanding of contextual vocabulary [how vocabulary is used in text] in various subjects. b. Use content vocabulary [vocabulary used in a particular subject area] in writing and speaking. c. Explore understanding of new words found in subject area texts.
