  2. Designing the Makeup • It is the responsibility of the makeup designer to create a design that will help transform the actor in to the character.

  5. Makeup Drawings • Preliminary sketches are quick sketches that show what the makeup should look like. • When the design is finalized it should be adapted to the actor • Working drawings: detail information that shows the actor or makeup artist how to apply the makeup.
