  3. Benchmarks for a School’s Common Framework • To effectively allow for unbiased reflection on education, a common framework needs to: • Describe teaching and learning in nonjudgmental ways. No one should feel labeled. • Be strengths-based, emphasizing how each person teaches and learns rather than suggesting limits on what they can do. • Describe which learning styles a practice will reach. • Apply across cultures and to both adults and students. • Provide bridges among varying staff development efforts.

  5. Personality Type • People display normal differences in how they: • Take in information • Make decisions. • These are two key processes in education

  6. How do you approach life? Judging (J) – A preference for planning their work and working their plan. They are not more judgmental, but rather prefer to come to a judgment (closure) on things. Perceiving (P) – A preference for staying open to the moment. They are not more perceptive, but rather to continue to perceive (gather) more information.
