2. I am Otto Frank, I was a Jewish survivor of World war 2, and these are the terrible memories that I will never forget as an old man.

3. I lay in my bed in the Hospital when the nurse came in to give me my medicine. I knew it was no use as soon I would die of lung cancer, but when I do I will never forget what happened to me in World war 2.

4. It seems only like yesterday I was trying to hide my beloved wife and two children behind a bookcase safe from war, and here’s how it all began.

5. I remember taking my family into the upper rooms of a building where I knew they would be safe. We managed to survive with enough food and water for a week then we were joined by another family.

6. We weren't discovered for two years hiding behind our bookcase. Everyone was terrified that someone would walk into the building and find us and it happened. We were betrayed by one of our helpers. Anger and fear was building inside us. The Helpers One of these people betrayed the Franks

7. My wife, Edith died at Auschwitz and Margot and Anne died at Bergen – Belsen. When the war ended I went and searched for my family. When I found out they were dead I had lost all hope. I was given Anne’s diary. Anne Frank Margot Frank Edith Frank
