Who’s Who contains over 33,000 continually updated, short biographies of living noteworthy and influential individuals in British public life, from all walks of life, worldwide. The information in the biographies is supplied and checked by the entrants themselves. The online edition also gives you access to Who Was Who – this has over 100,000 entries from the Who’s Who archives.
angelamerkel Use the Search box at the top-right to search for a person, hobby or place.
The biography will usually show brief family details, current job, education, career, any publications, recreations and an address. You can also see a list of people who share the same birthday, or a list of contemporaries from their field of interest.
oldham You can also search for people with a connection to a particular place.
This will show people who have a career connection to Oldham,… …people who were educated in Oldham,… …people who live in Oldham,… …and even people whose recreations involve Oldham in some way.
