  3. Big Ben is London’s landmark. • It is the bell which means the time from the clock tower, next to the Parliament and its sound is broadcast "live" from the radio Come on.

  4. The clock has four faces, it’s 106 m high, and has a bell tower that weighs 14 tonnes. • It rings every hour.

  5. It took its name from Benjamin Hall, who was the foreman to construct it in 1858. The clock is the largest in Britain.

  6. The four plates have a diameter of 7.5 meters and a bronze hand 4.25 meters in length.

  7. The Big Ben has been standing in London for three centuries and it is adjusted to London's pulse.
