Promoting Sustainable Development and Management of Groundwater – Professional’s perspective • VIABILITY • Cost – is it cheaper to develop, easier to abstract? • Treatability – content: impurities, minerals, taste, turbidity, colour, pH • Marketability – how to reach consumer, willingness to pay, alternative, bottled/piped • Environmentally friendly – protect the environment, land subsidence, saline intrusion?

FAQs How sustainable is groundwater? Is it allowed to be extracted? How much is it allowed? Do we need license? Can it goes dry? Where is it used? Is it of potable quality? Who owned the groundwater? QUALITY & QUANTITY SATISFIED, will the designer proceed?
