  2. Prepare to enter an imaginary world On this planet everyone who works in Universities and Colleges has to make a direct contribution to student learning (even the VC and the Director of Estates!)

  3. Your Key Performance Indicator What have you done this year to help the University/ College produce graduates who are “sustainability literate”?

  4. Workshop Aims To learn initially from each other what we (our units) are currently doing to promote sustainability. To explore and share what we could be doing (possibly already are doing) to enhance student learning about sustainability.

  5. Introductions and Confessions Introduce yourselves and briefly outline your job and the main role of your unit. If I were not here at the EAUC Conference I would rather be ………..

  6. Our Opening Question What are you (your unit) currently doing to promote sustainability? Identify your main achievement to date. Share the answers with your group

  7. Our Main Question You have now moved to a parallel Universe, where people working in Universities and Colleges are all expected to teach. In what way(s) could you / your unit contribute more effectively and directly to student learning about sustainability? Discuss your idea(s) with your group.

  8. Your Sustainability Idea(s) Complete the form, and then …………………………………….?

  9. The Sustainability “Swap Shop” Finally, let’s all share some highlights and perhaps choose a winner!
