  8. BECOMING PEOPLE OF THE WORD When: August 19, 10:30-Noon Where: Room 108/110 You are invited to hear award-winning author, biblical scholar, and sought-after speaker, Stephen J. Binz share insights on becoming people of the Word by learning to read the Bible as the Word of God and becoming transformed by the Word. Stephen J. Binz offers keynotes, seminars, and workshops at international, national, and regional conferences as well as education for clergy and pastoral leaders. His writing focuses on biblical commentary, biblical theology, and Christian spirituality. As founder and author of Threshold Bible Study, he has written and published thirty studies for personal and group Bible study.

Registration for the St. Philip Benizi ESL and Citizenship Preparation Program will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, August 14 and 16, 2018, at the HartmayerEducation Building (HEB) Upper Level. CLASSES ARE FOR ADULTS18 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER. If you have US Permanent Residency, (Green Card) and want to prepare for the US Citizenship Test. you may also register for the US Citizenship Preparation Class. Classes START on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 and are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 PM to 9 PM. NO CHILD CARE IS PROVIDED.

Inscripción para el programa, Clases de Ingles y Preparación Para El Examen de Ciudadanía de St. Philip Benizi, se dará a cabo el martes y jueves, 14 y 16 agosto 2018, a las 7:00 PM en el Edificio Educacional Hartmayer (HEB) en la entrada principal. LAS CLASES SON PARA ADULTOS DE 18 ANOS O MAS. Si tiene residencia permanente de los EE.UU. (tarjeta verde) puede inscribirse para las clases de Preparación para el Examen de Ciudadanía. Las clases comienzan martes 21 agosto, 2018. Ambas clases se impartan los martes y jueves de 7:00 PM hasta las 9:00 PM. NO HAY GUARDERIA DE NINOS.
