  4. Let them learn • Exploration takes time • There’s no substitute for experience -- theirs • Let go of control • Find ways to find out what they really know

  5. Miscellaneous • Work the projects ahead of time! • If possible, find TAs, especially for lab. • As you teach, keep track of what you do when. • Be flexible.
