  2. Whydid I choosethistopic? • I was made to.  • Itwas in English. • Itwas on therightwebsite – the TED page. • Itwasbusiness-related. • Itseemedinterestingbecause I careabouttheenvironment and I have a shoppingbagthat I alwaysuse. • I likedthetitle – I wantedtoknowwhatthebiggestglobalproblems are said tobe.

  3. Main points of the talk – thebiggestproblems in theWorld • climate change, • communicable diseases, • conflicts, • education,  • financial instability, • governance and corruption,  • malnutrition and hunger, • population migration,  • sanitation and water, • subsidies and trade barriers. It’s said thatthebiggestproblems in theWorld are

  4. Main points of the talk • There are limited sources in the World to solve the global problems, so we should focus on the ones that have the biggest impact for the least amount spent. • Theproblemaboutdealingwithclimatechangeisthatit’s too expensive, butdoes so littleforthefuture, wemightwin just a fewyearstime. • Theverybestprojecttofocus on wouldbe HIV/AIDS – especiallybecauseitwouldbewisetofocus on theprevention, whichisalsogoingtocostlessthantreatment. • Byavoidingpeoplegettinginfectedwe would significantly increase their ability to deal with many of the other problems that they have to deal with - of course, in the long run, also to deal with global warming.

  5. Conclusion • I agreethatthere are manyimportantproblemsthat need a solution and it’sreallyhardtochoosewhichonestofocus on first. • Itwouldbegoodto solve all theproblems, but I understandthatthere’snotenoughmoneytodo all at once. • At first I stronglydisagreedwiththepresenterbecause I findtheclimatechangetobeanimportantthing and I myselfdomybestnottopollutetheMotherEarth. • But I likedhowheexplainedthattheclimatechangeisnotthattangible, whilefortheotherissuesthesolutionischeaper and canbe seen sooner. • Of course I recommendthe video totheothers, thetopicisinteresting and made me thinkwhat’sthemostimportant.
