  2. Precipitation • When Cloud particles become too heavy to remain suspended in the air, they fall to the earth as precipitation. • Precipitation occurs in a variety of forms: • Rain • Hail • Sleet • Snow

Solutions to Acid Rain • Alternative Energy:- spend more time and money on developing renewable energy sources such as wind, wave and solar power. • Penalty tax:- put a penalty tax on industries that cause acid rain. Use this money to repair the damage that acid rain has already caused. • Filters: Install filters in factories to reduce sulphur emissions from coal burning industries.
