4. In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • لماذا نحتاج لمثل هذا النظام؟ • ما هو نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة؟ • -What is this IVMS? • Why do we need such systems? IVMS is a system that consists of two parts. The on board computer (OBC) or as we call the ‘Travel Buddy’ and the Driver Merit System (DMS). The Travel Buddy is installed in the vehicle and constantly measures the drivers speed by GPS and then calculates it against the speed limit and levels of acceleration or deceleration. • إن نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة يتكون من جزئين. الكمبيوتر المركب في المركبة والمعروف ب ”زميل السفر“ ونظام الإستحقاق للسائق. • إن نظام ”زميل السفر“ المركب في المركبة يقوم بشكل دائم بقياس سرعة السائقين بواسطة الأقمار الصناعية المحددة للمواقع وتحسب متوسط السرعة ومستويات التسارع والتباطؤ.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • كيف يعمل هذا النظام؟ -How does this system works? الجهاز مصمم بحيث يرتبط بنظام تشغيل المركبة ويتضمن أجهزة مراقبة السرعة، حزام الأمان، التسارع، المكابح، التحكم في مقود المركبة، وغيرها من أمور السلامة التي تساعد على المحافظة على أرواح الركاب وسلامتهم. The equipment is designed to be linked to the ignition system and includes monitoring of speed, seatbelt, acceleration, breaks and vehicle control; as well as other safety features that helps to conserve their lives and safety.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • كيف يساعد النظام السائق • -How the system help the Driver هناك العديد من الفوائد عند أستخدام النظام، بعضها له علاقة مباشرة بإنقاذ الأرواح والتأكد من سلامة الركاب عند السياقة، كما أن هناك فوائد إقتصادية و مساعدة المحققين في تحليل مسببات الحوادث • There are lots of benefits from having this system, some related to saving lives and also ensuring that people are driving safely, there are also economical benefits as well as assisting in case of incident investigations. The system has a panic button that can be used in case of emergency, lost or accident.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • التدريب على إستخدام النظام • -Training to use the system سيتم توفير التدريب للأشخاص المراقبين للنظام والمدراء والذين يتم أختيارهم او منسقي النظام. كما سيتم إخطار السائقين عن طريق المنسقين عن كيفية عمل النظام بإيجاز. • The training will be provided to those people monitoring the system as well as managers and focal points. Drivers will be briefed by their concerned focal points on the system operation.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • إبداء الملاحظات الى السائقين • -Feedback to the Drivers كل سائق سيعطى تقرير الملاحظات على طريقة سياقته وأية مسائل أو مشاكل سيتم توضيحها وإعطاءها للسائق. وعلى السائق كذلك إعطاء أية ملاحظات على النظام عند ملاحظة او رؤية شيئ غير عادي أثناء السياقة. • Each driver will be given on one to one basis a feedback on his driving performance and any issues or concerns will be provided and clarified to the Driver. • Drivers should also have an input on the system if they notice or observe anything that is abnormal during driving.

In-Vehicle Monitoring System نظام المراقبة داخل المركبة • ما هي سلبيات النظام • -The disadvantages of the system • So far there were no disadvantages reported back to us or to the contractor who installed the system. • If you have any issues or concerns then please do not hesitate to report them back to us or your superiors. حتى الآن لم يتم التبليغ عن أية ملاحظات أو شكاوي عن النظام سواء لدينا أو لدى المقاول الذي يقوم بتركيب النظام. إذا كانت لديكم أية ملاحظات فالرجاء عدم التردد في الإبلاغ عنها سواء لدينا أو لمسئوليكم.
