Adding Fractions (GCF/LCM) • 3/16 + 5/24 = ?????????? • First, we had to put 3/16 on top of 5/24. Then we had to find the equivalent denominators by multiplying the numbers. After that we added the numerators together and kept the denominator the same. If possible you can also simplify.
Subtracting Fractions (GCF/LCM) . A fruit salad recipe uses 4 3/8 cups of oranges, 2 ¾ cups of apples, and 3 1/3 cups peaches. How many more cups of oranges does it use than cups of apples? .
