This partnership aims to develop a comprehensive healthcare workforce plan for Idaho, addressing the shortage of physicians, nurses, dentists, mental health professionals, and others. The plan will involve input and coordination from employers, educators, licensing boards, and researchers, and will analyze data, identify high-demand sectors, inventory existing resources, and identify education and training models. The partnership will also establish a center for long-range healthcare workforce planning and a nursing workforce data center.
