Dryer Vent Wizard Oakland Dryer Vent Wizard Oakland The Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard Takes part in Tough Mudder 2017 to help Raise Funds for the Children's Burn Foundation Since 2012, wizards throughout the country have worked with the Children's Burn Foundation, a program that contributes healing and emotional services for children who are survivors of fires, together with informative courses pertaining to fire prevention and safety The local Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard teams up with franchisees across the United States who participate with a month-long fundraising campaign for the Children's Burn Foundation during October, National Fire Prevention Month. The donations come direct from their corporate office and franchisees, who either promise a dollar amount for every job they complete in October or chip in a specific amount. Last year, Dryer Vent Wizard managed to donate nearly $21,000, bringing their overall contributions made to the Children's Burn Foundation to $63,955. In order to arrive at their 2017 goal of generating $25,000, their corporate office performed some distinct fundraising aside from their next October campaign. On June 3rd, members of the corporate team took part in the Tough Mudder race to amplify insight for the Children's Burn Foundation. Tough Mudder is a strength competition where subjects push to race through a muddy 10-- 12 mile-long military-style obstacle course. This is the first year Dryer Vent Wizard has entered into in a Tough Mudder race, and they are hopeful that they will encounter as much thoughtful support for the Children's Burn Foundation during this Tough Mudder drive as they have throughout their past five years of National Fire Prevention Month drives.
