It is rather like an independent city-state and is the most modern and progressive emirate in the UAE, developing at an unbelievable pace in the tourist and trade sectors especially. • Satwa is one of Dubai Little India and Little Manila, due to the presence of Filipinos and Indians, a rise in Filipino and Indian restaurants, shops, supermarkets are seen here. • Gold and textiles is what people come here for, Gold Souk might be your top destination but Satwa too has gold shops and is hassle free, not so crowded. • The city of Dubai is situated on a coastal strip bordered by desert and gets very hot. It is dry on the hottest days and humid during the cooler days in the summer. Cooler, more pleasant weather lasts from the end of September to beginning of May temperatures from October to January and March to May still being moderately hot but be prepared for cold night temperatures. • In winter the temperature at night is usually cooler. From May to September, the sun is intense and temperatures can touch 45°C (113°F) in the city and even higher in the desert. The heat, coupled with a humidity near the coast, effectively precludes most activity outdoors for the daylight hours during summer. • Bastakiya District is one of the last remaining pockets of Old Dubai, home to many reconstructed buildings in the traditional style. Jumeirah Mosque, is the largest in the city and a wonderful example of Islamic architecture. Built in the medieval Fatimid tradition. • Palm Islands are the three largest artificial islands in the world are located just off the coast of Dubai, a major urban development to add a significant amount of upscale beachfront property to the area. • Each of the islands is shaped like a palm leaf, with a trunk connected to the mainland, fronds extending from the trunk and a crescent (a breakwater encircling the trunk and fronds). They are connected to the mainland by a freeway bridge and a monorail and sporting marinas, luxury resorts, and upscale shopping areas. • Other activities in Dubai include sand surfing, skiing, wind wadi and desert safari. Dubai is a must see destination for yacht charters.

The Red Sea is known as one of natures last frontiers and is a favourite location for avid water sport enthusiasts. The Red Sea has something for everybody, whether you are looking for a family vacation in the sun or you are a devoted diver wanting to explore remote areas rarely visited by most holiday makers, the choice of sites are immense. Chartering a yacht in the Red Sea is a special experience in every way. The Red Sea is the tropical sea for Europe stretching over 2,350 kilometres, at the very end of the Great Rift Valley that begins in Southern Africa, the fringing reefs of this historical region hold 400 species of coral and a 20% endemic fish population. • On your chartered yacht cruise to Taba and explore the Pharaohs island. Walk through the ruins of the castle and enjoy a swim in the crystal blue water around the island.
