Function 3. End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA
3.End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA (1/5) (1)Description DISA is automatically connected during transfer, forward and “ICD group ring with cellular phones”, to enable detection of end of calls. System programming is required for this feature.
3.End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA (2/5) (2)Sample configuration Call Transfer to CO or Call Forward to CO Ver.1 - Ver.2.00 Ext. 101 C-FWD 9-477-1111 CO-to-CO Analog CO No-DISA = No-way to detect the disconnection of outside party. (CO lock-up) CPC and Polarity Reversal are not supported !! If an extension receives incoming call from CO, and if he transfer or forward it to another CO party, it makes CO-CO connection. But if the disconnection signal service is not supported by PSTN, CO-CO connection is not released by the timing of disconnection at the outside party.
3.End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA (3/5) Ver.2.02 Call Transfer to CO or Call Forward to CO Transfer and Forward to CO. Ext. 101 C-FWD 9-477-1111 CO-to-CO Analog CO When CO-CO call is established, DISA resource is allocated automatically. CPC and Polarity Reversal are not supported !! DISA Tone-detection In Ver.2.02, we added the option to allocate the DISA resources automatically for the Call-Transfer to CO or Call-FWD to CO operation of extension. In this case, CO-CO connection is released when the outside party disconnects by the tone-detection of DISA.
3.End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA (4/5) (3)Programming 5.Optional Device – 3.Voice Message – 1.DISA System Disable: Default Enable: Option (Get DISA) 5.Optional Device Option 1 3.Voice Message 1.DISA System
3.End of call detection for analog CO-CO by DISA (5/5) (4)Condition • For the details, refer “1.16.6 Direct Inward System Access (DISA)” • Automatic DISA Activation in Feature Guide. - This is not necessary Upgrade SD card(KX-TDA0920). - It is necessary for installation of OGM card(KX-TDA0191). - This function works, under following condition. When a trunk call is forwarded to another trunk. When a trunk call is transferred to another trunk. When a trunk call to an incoming call distribution(ICD) group is answered by an outside destination member. (for this case, see next “transfer from cellular phone”)
Function 4. Transfer from cellular phone
4.Transfer from cellular phone (1/7) (1)Description Cellular phone users can transfer received calls to other extensions in the PBX by the DISA feature.
4.Transfer from cellular phone (2/7) (2)Sample configuration Ver.1 - Ver.2.00 (A) Outside member of ICD Group was not possible. ICD Group Ext. 101 Ext. 102 477-1111 Outside member of ICD Group We could not program the outside party as a member of ICD group.
4.Transfer from cellular phone (3/7) (B) Outside party could not transfer the call to extension. Ext. 101 C-FWD 9-477-1111 CO-to-CO 477-1111 Ext. 102 Transfer the call back to the extension of PBX. If the incoming call is once transferred/forwarded to outside party, he had no way to transfer the call back to any extension of PBX
4.Transfer from cellular phone (4/7) Ver.2.02 (A) Outside member of ICD Group is possible. ICD Group Virtual PS Ext. 101 C-FWD 9-477-1111 477-1111 Ext. 102 Outside member of ICD Group In Ver.2.02, We can program the outside party as a member of ICD group.
KX-TDA0920 4.Transfer from cellular phone (5/7) (B) Outside party can transfer the call to extension. ICD Group Virtual PS Ext. 101 C-FWD 9-477-1111 477-1111 Ext. 102 # 102 (DTMF) DISA When outside member answers, DISA resource is allocated automatically. Outside member of ICD Group DTMF-detection In Ver.2.02, if the the outside member answers to the call to the ICD Group, the DISA resource can be automatically allocated for DTMF signal receiving from outside member. And by the DTMF detection of DISA, outside party can perform the call transfer to extension.
4.Transfer from cellular phone (6/7) (3)Programming 5.Optional Device – 3.Voice Message – 1.DISA System Disable: Default Enable: Option (Get DISA) 5.Optional Device Option 1 3.Voice Message 1.DISA System Disable: Default (DTMF “#”) Enable: Option (Flash)
4.Transfer from cellular phone (7/7) (4)Condition - For the details, refer “1.16.6 Direct Inward System Access (DISA)” DISA Call Transfer from Outside Destination in Feature Guide. - This is necessary Upgrade SD card(KX-TDA0920). - It is necessary for installation of OGM card(KX-TDA0191). - DISA security mode should be set to No Security or Trunk Security. • If the called extension does not answer, is busy, or is in DND mode, the • call goes to the DISA Intercept destination. - The party on hold can use the Call Retry feature. - End of Call Detection does not operate after dialing “#”. - Calls can only be transferred to extensions within the same PBX. • Transfer Recall, Call Splitting and Call Transfer with Announcement • (screened transfer) are not available. • Call transfer starts after # + extension number without on-hook of • outside party.
Function 5. DISA automatic release
5.DISA automatic release (1/5) (1)Description When a CO-CO conversation starts, DISA is released automatically. System programming is required for this feature.
5.DISA automatic release (2/5) (2)Sample configuration Ver.1 - Ver.2.00 DISA resource is kept allocating during CO-CO conversation. CO-to-CO Analog CO DISA CPC and Polarity Reversal are not supported !! Tone-detection to identify the end-of-call. Traditionally, if you make CO-CO conversation situation via DISA, our PBX keeps allocating DISA until end of the conversation. This is basically designed for the analog CO line that is not supporting disconnection signal service.
5.DISA automatic release (3/5) Standard disconnect signal Ver.2.02 ISDN, E1/T1 When CO-to-CO conversation starts, the DISA resource is released. CO-to-CO Analog CO CPC or Polarity Reversal are supported DISA But if disconnection signal triggered by the on-hook of the CO party is supported by PSTN, the CO ports can be released by it. Because the disconnection signal service became common by the expansion of the digital line, we allow the user to select “CO-CO with DISA" as option.
5.DISA automatic release (4/5) (3)Programming 5.Optional Device – 3.Voice Message – 1.DISA System Disable: Option (Release DISA) Enable: Default (Does not release) 5.Optional Device Option 1 3.Voice Message 1.DISA System
5.DISA automatic release (5/5) (4)Condition - This is not necessary Upgrade SD card(KX-TDA0920). - It is necessary for installation of OGM card(KX-TDA0191). • If disconnection signal is not supported by PSTN, or if KX-TDA is not • configured for receiving the disconnection signal from PSTN, the • disabling of “CO-CO with DISA" will cause the CO port lockup problem. • - You must use this function after understanding this risk.
