One of the best things about this cake shop at CPwas the warm welcome, the quick service and the aroma of French food in the air. The food, they said, was made of French Flour and French Butter. I decided to try out their Classic Croissant - a flaky, buttery piece of heaven! With this, the hunger seemed to get triggered and I ordered a Pizza Puff. Surprise – It was a square, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Next in line was the Farafalle Pasta Salad, an Italian Farfelle pasta dressed in pesto. It was topped with roasted bellpepper & pinenuts and every bite took me to different memory lanes – flavours so finely defined. It was time to satisfy my sweet tooth and the reviews told me that the tarts at this particular cake bakery in Connaught Place are a must-taste. So, I went on to order a Blueberry Mascarpone Crumble tart, and I said to myself, “Yes, this is heaven.” To complete it, I ordered a cup of coffee. I had definitely overeaten and decided to take some time to relax and listen to the awesome classics in their playlist. By the end of the awesome taste-journey, I was absolutely assured that Brioche Dorée will be the perfect Valentine’s day date idea for my friend and his girl.
