FSSAI or Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is the self-governing esbody established under Ministry of Health& Family Welfare, Government of India. FSSAI has been formed under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 which is a consolidating body that is closely related with food safety and regulation in India.
