Exam Practice Essay USE YOUR TP-CASTT HW to write the following in 30 minutes: • Thesis Paragraph: Mentions title, paraphrases the poem, and thesis explain the poem’s theme. • Body Paragraph 1: Focuses on connotation and gives specific examples of poetic devices used and their impact on the theme. • Body Paragraph 2: Focuses on attitude and gives specific examples of diction to prove the attitude of the poem. • Body Paragraph 3: Focuses on shifts in the poem and their impact on the overall theme. • Concluding Paragraph: Revisits the title and its significance. Connects theme to the audience.
