  1. World geography Warm-Up 8/19 We will have a warm-up almost everyday. Check the agenda of the day and Smart board screen for instructions. Do what it tells you to do. Today : Pick up a syllabus and the half sheet from the front table. Get out your name tent from Friday and place it and your phone out on the desk.

  2. World geography Warm-Up 8/20 Pick up a popsicle stick from the front table. Write your first name, last initial, and class period on your popsicle stick. (I will use these to create participation if needed.) Get out your signed parent syllabus slip – due Wednesday

  3. World geography Warm-Up 8/21 Name Tents out on your desk Get out parent syllabus slip if you haven’t turned it in On a sheet of notebook paper, answer the following question. Leave room for 2 more warm ups for Thursday and Friday. If you could visit any country in the world, where would you go and why? Rewrite the question and answer in at least 2 complete sentences.

  4. T-shirt Maps activity In groups of 4-5, investigate the country of origin for 1 piece of clothing (t-shirt, hoodie, shoes, etc) per student Collect the data for your group on the back of your map. List the countries and how many students had that country. Color the map for each country listed. When you are finished as a group, we will rotate among the other groups so all students are represented on the map.

Rewrite the question and answer in at least 2 complete sentences.

Use color and be creative!

Turn the terms into the box for your class. Then color the Landforms and Water Bodies graphic and paste it into your notebook/binder.
