Federal Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) Federal AMO’s can be met by: • Exceeding the AMO based on current year’s performance • Exceeding the AMO based on a 3 year average • Reducing the previous year’s failure rate by 10% • Having less than 30 students in a subgroup Department of Accountability: “Anyone can measure the rain; we build arks.”

State Accreditation • Measures achievement levels in English (Reading and Writing SOLs combined), mathematics, history, and science. • Only accounts for the “All Student” pass rates in each of the four academic areas. • Accreditation benchmarks were elevated this year in grades 6-12 English (+5%), grade 3 History (+20%), and grade 3 Science (+20%) Department of Accountability: “Anyone can measure the rain; we build arks.”
