Brief History of His Life • Polish mathematician. • Enrolled at University of Warsaw in 1899, in the Department of Mathematics and Physics. • Received his doctorate and appointed to the University of Lwow in 1908. • In 1928 he became vice-chairman of the Warsaw Scientific Society, and elected chairman of the Polish Mathematical Society. • Spent most of his time in Poland as a professor at the University of Warsaw.
