Counseling • Routine counseling / scheduled & ad hoc • Crisis control / immediate counseling • Master schedule • Course selection process • Scheduling process • 15-minute individual conferences re: student schedule requests • Schedule change meetings • Report cards / Progress reports • Class rankings • Facilitate student/teacher conferences and parent conferences

Parent / Student Programs • Organize / present “Return of the Alumni” Program for 11th & 12th grade students • Organize / present Financial Aid Programs • Organize / present Juniors / Parents College Admissions Evening • Organize / host Post-Secondary Options Fair • Organize/host Teen Awareness Day

  6. Testing Support Advise juniors and seniors on ACT or SAT tests Pre- and post-PSAT lessons Organize and monitor PSAT Testing Manage CAPT testing process Organize and maintain student CAPT records Schedule ASVAB Exams Schedule Perkins Vocational Testing

  7. Other Responsibilities Include: • Register new students • Case manager for “504” students • Remediation for students needing assistance in specific subjects • Special Ed student support / PPTs • State-required reports (PSIS, ED 540, ED 525) • Year-end statistical reports for seniors • Mentoring Program • Scholarship listing • Summer Jobs listing • Liaison between school / hospital / out-placement facilities • Maintain graduate student records
