Heads-Up Indexing Features • Scenario: Documents/Files are sent to a ‘pending’ collection on DS by any of the supported “on-ramps.” (Scanner, e-Mail, ISS DS-PrintCap, DS-FileCap, DS-ImageCap, etc) • User Selects ‘pending’/Source Collection in Pane #1 • User Selects Object Type and Destination Collection in Pane #3

  7. Heads-Up Indexing Features • Custom Fields Associated with Object Type (ex Document, Medical Record) are displayed and entered by user • DSip supports all DS property rules • System/Default Properties may be modified

  8. Heads-Up Indexing Features • User clicks Save Icon • Document is saved to destination collection with its properties indexed • “Sequential Processing” option: • ON: Next document is presented to user • OFF: User double-clicks next document to view

  9. “Sticky Data" Indexing Feature • “Sticky Data” Option in conjunction with “Sequential Processing”: • Selected Values from prior saved document are held for subsequent docs properties. • Saves repeat entry of data on selected fields

  11. “Mass Update" Indexing Feature • Highlight a group of documents (Ctrl+Click, Shift+Click), and save to destination folder. • No limit to number of documents selected • Selected common properties are saved with each document. • Items not selected are left intact. • Once and done! • Requires DSip User Right “Mass Update”

Limiting Number of Docs Returned per Query • Select LIMIT Check Box from Toolbar • Select Max Number and/or Start – Stop Document Count • Click GO • Useful when opening partial results from a large query set, example: when splitting work from a central ‘in-process’ collection amongst more than one user

Annotate Tiff Files • Requires DSip-assigned right • Save/Replace • Deletes original TIFF • Saves the TIFF displayed in DSip to DS • Save/Copy • Saves the TIFF displayed to DS as a copy of original • DSip has option “Show All related Documents” • Rubber Stamp Tool • Allows incorporation of a user-specific bitmap (.bmp), for example a signature, accessible only to the user per their Windows log in. • Saves image after stamping to minimize clicks required

User Translation Table • Optional Security Feature • Table will contain DSip user name and eCabinet user name • User signs on to DSip and credentials are translated to DS-based credentials • i.e. Bill logs on to DSip as Bill Jones. DSip translates it to 66jonesb13 on DS. • This effectively locks Bill out of the DS web interface, enforcing security and HIPAA
