  2. David Hockney is a British artist well known for painting, printmaking and photography. We are going to look at his photography collages.

  3. Photo collages or montages are made by taking lots of photos of an object or scene and then joining them together to make a whole new image. This image is made from 112 photos!

  4. Some of Hockney’s photos are squared off like this one...

  5. And some are all overlapping photos such as this image...

  6. David Hockney was largely influenced by Pablo Picasso and other ‘Cubist’ artists.

  7. He is interested in showing things from all different angles to give a ‘true’ representation of what it is.

  8. Can you use these photos to make a photo collage of your own?
