Design: Single GUI for 'The Grid' • Single access point to ‘The Grid’ • Virtual metacomputer • All tools (seemingly) integrated into one ‘meta’ or ‘virtual’ computer • No need for extra software (Only java 1.5 needed) • Same look and feel for both windows and linux (but customizable) ? ? ? PoC Induction 19-April VBrowser: Plugins & Embedded Viewers • Text/HTML Viewer • Standard HTML 3.2 content. • Text Editor • Can edit remote files. • Picture Viewer (gif/jpgs) • Experimental Dicom 3D Viewer • Requires VTK with java bindings • Plugin (Demo) created by Master Student Abdullah Özsoy • Plugin Architecture allows customized viewers for other applications.
