The Curriculum • Biological Foundations of Psychopharmacological Practice I • Biological Foundations of Psychopharmacological Practice II • Neuroscience • Neuropharmacology • Clinical Pharmacology • Professional Issues and Practice Management • Treatment Issues: Affective Disorders • Treatment Issues: Psychotic Disorders • Treatment Issues: Anxiety Disorders • Treatment Issues: Other Disorders ** Issues of lifespan and cultural diversity are addressed throughout the curriculum **

Program Outcomes • Each 7½-week course is worth 45 Continuing Education credits and 3 graduate degree credits • Completion of the 10-course sequence plus a final comprehensive exam results in receiving a Postdoctoral Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology • Completion of additional clinical requirements leads to certification of completion of training consistent with APA guidelines for preparation for prescriptive authority

  5. Clinical and Academic Orientation • Instructors include nationally recognized experts in their fields (including graduates of the Department of Defense program) • Weekly online chats involve case conferences focusing on formulation, diagnostics, and treatment planning

  6. An Academic Calendar • Scheduling of courses according to the academic calendar keeps you moving • Within that schedule, YOU decide when to complete activities
