Status of Revising the CBP Guidelines for Sampling and Analysis

This document discusses the need to revise the CBP guidelines for sampling and analysis to ensure consistent development of participant SOPs, comparable data among participants, and updated methods. Various revisions and additions have been made since the publication in the mid-1990s, with a focus on expanding monitoring into nontidal waters and improving program requirements.
