Diet The painted turtle is a omnivore that eats: common duckweed, aquatic worm, lizard’s tail, pond snail, creek chub, pickerelweed, crane fly, and eastern mosquitofish
Habitat • You can find the painted turtle in forests, lakes, grasslands, marshes, ponds, fresh water, and all across America.
Amazing Facts: • Believe it or not, it’s a reptile. • They can live up to be 20 years old. Their shell is connected to their skeleton. It is also made of 60 bones.
