  2. Project Options You may choose any of the following methods...

  3. Project Options: Poster Board / Presentation Board - This would be like the examples I have in my classroom. To represent your family, you may draw pictures, cut pictures out of magazines, clip art, or use actual photos of your family.

  4. Poster Board / Presentation Board: PRESENTATION: You may present your family tree to the class in person, or you may record yourself presenting the board at home. You may email me your presentation, bring it saved on a thumb/flash drive, or save it to your cloud, google drive, or whatever method you choose. Your video will be played for the class.

  5. Project Options: Other art methods: If you have a different creative or art method that you would prefer to use, DO IT! OPEN YOUR MIND TO CREATIVITY!

  8. Other art methods: PRESENTATION: You may present your family tree to the class in person, or you may record yourself presenting your creation at home. You may email me your presentation, bring it saved on a thumb/flash drive, or save it to your cloud, google drive, or whatever method you choose. Your video will be played for the class.

  9. Project Options: Powerpoint / Slideshow - You may create a slideshow to show the class who your family is. You would need to add pictures to represent your family. Again, these may be drawings, magazine cutouts, clip art, or actual photos.

  10. Powerpoint / Slideshow: PRESENTATION: These would have to be presented in class, in person. You may email me your presentation, bring it saved on a thumb/flash drive, or save it to your cloud, google drive, or whatever method you choose.

  11. Project Options: Video - You may video yourself using any of the previous methods (minus the slideshow), or you can use any other creative way to present your family tree using video.

  12. Video: PRESENTATION: Examples: Hold up actual photos of your family while you talk about them. Use your actual family members if they are willing to be on video. All required lines must be spoken by you, and you must be visible in the video at all times.

  15. Your Family Tree must include… 3 generations: 1st - 1 set of grandparents 2nd - Your parents and 1 pair of aunt and uncle 3rd - You and your siblings and 1 set of cousins.

  16. Your Family Tree must include… At least one pet

  17. Labeling… Whatever method you choose for your family tree, you must find a way to label each family member with the following: • Relationship to you • First and Last Name • Age

  18. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela Guadalupe Rivas 96 años

  19. Your Family Tree Presentation must include… All required family members must be presented with: • First and Last name • Relationship • Ages are given • 2 characteristics

  20. Your Family Tree Presentation must include… Everything must be presented using complete sentences, and EVERYTHING MUST BE IN SPANISH. *Points will be deducted for every English word used during the presentation.

  21. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela You say: Ella es mi abuela. Se llama Guadalupe Rivas. Ella tiene 96 (noventa y seis) años. Ella tiene el pelo canoso. A ella le gusta mucho bailar. She is my grandmother. Her name is Guadalupe Rivas. She is 96 (ninety-six) years old. She has gray hair. She likes to dance a lot. Guadalupe Rivas 96 años

  22. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela Tells her relationship to you. Ella es mi abuela. She is my grandmother. Guadalupe Rivas 96 años

  23. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela Tells her first and last name. Se llama Guadalupe Rivas. Her name is Guadalupe Rivas. Guadalupe Rivas 96 años

  24. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela Tells her age. Numbers must be in Spanish, too. Ella tiene 96 (noventa y seis) años. She is 96 (ninety-six) years old. Guadalupe Rivas 96 años

  25. FOR EXAMPLE... Mi abuela These are 2 descriptive sentences telling us about her characteristics. Ella tiene el pelo canoso. A ella le gusta mucho bailar. She has gray hair. She likes to dance a lot. Guadalupe Rivas 96 años
