  1. BIOL241 – Laboratory 1 Lab Safety & Microscope Use Cell Anatomy & Transport

  2. “Help Each Other” • Some may have only had a: • Chemistry prerequisite or • a Biology prerequisite, so • Help each other with proper microscope care and handling, cell biology and chemistry! • Check each other – • Check the texts if things “don’t match”!

  3. When all else fails….. • check and follow the instructions! • (I should mention: a significant underlying part of this class is going to depend on your ability to, or learning to, take responsibility for and self managing your own learning!) • You may have heard this before, but it bears repeating – learning is an active process that you do!

  4. Weekly Labs • To be completed when we meet in AS1615, the anatomy lab room, M, W • If you need it, also use open lab time! • Stay on schedule! • The lab numbers or on the class schedule, in the right hand column • Be sure to look at them ahead of time so you can make the most efficient use of your time!
