  3. Hobby: Playing Chess Life after work: I have played chess in my college career and have three times been the Orissa, India state junior Champion and two time Utkal University Champion. I have participated in different national tournaments in my college career. Recently I participated in chess tournaments after 20 years and found that I had not forgotten anything. Whenever time permits, I participate in chess tournaments. My current USCF rating is 1624. In 2012, I placed first in the Auburn chess club and second place in the Golden State Open, Concord, in 1600 section in Jan 2013. Navigator Chess Club: Chess is a game to develop mental skills like calculation, visualization, focus, patience, logical thinking. These are the skills will help kids on their academic. Chess is a methodology tool to help kids to develop their potentials. I requested principal of Navigator to open a chess club. She is agreed to open the club for the kids development. I am planning to start session on January 2014 in every Thursday 5:30PM to 6:30PM. I am not a teacher but parent. Expecting good cooperation from all the parents and schools to help our kids on their developments. Looking forward to meet with you all.

She agreed to open the club for the kids to develop their skills in chess. I am planning to start session on January 2014. It will run every Thursday from 5:30PM to 6:30PM in Room 1. I am not a teacher but I am cleared to volunteer as parent. I require good cooperation from all the parents and students to help make our chess club a success. Looking forward to meet with you all.
