  6. North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER Eligibility criteria: Does it fit with 1 or more of the 12 key areas? Can we cover the types of costs? Is the applicant suitable? Checked by Mike & Amy through initial contact and Project Idea Form If eligible then a Full Application can be submitted (with guidance from Mike & Amy)

North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER Appraisal Appraisal by Secretariat covers: Applicant details Project detail Financial detail Outputs of project Forward strategy Results go to LAG Executive to help them decide If approved then Yorkshire Forward carry out a ‘light touch’ investment appraisal Offer letter issued!

North York Moors, Coast and Hills LEADER Timescales: Project Idea Forms – aiming for average of 2 week turnaround Full application forms – aiming for 1-2 months average decision time depending on volume of projects Yorkshire Forward investment appraisal – 1-2 weeks after LAG Executive Group decision
