  3. These questions help us to gather meaning and details to enable us to answer the Primary Questions Sometimes these questions are about the research process rather than the product. Subsidiary Questions

  4. These questions help us to plan and carry out our research. • What keywords can I use to search for information? • Are there broad categories of information that I need to cover? • How do I cite this resource? Organizing Questions

Probing Questions access our prior knowledge, use our intuitions and logic to dig deeper. • How does the fact that Benjamin Franklin was an inventor reflect his beliefs about culture and society? • Why was the Stamp Act so rancorous to the colonists? • How did the use of nuclear weapons impact foreign policy for the US? Probing Questions
