LEND stands for Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental & Related Disabilities LEND is a multidisciplinary fellowship for professionals who have recently completed an advanced degree in a healthcare field that is associated with neurodevelopmental or related conditions. The mission of the program is to support the development of exemplary clinical expertise, skills and competence in the care of children with neurodevelopmental and related disorders; and to instill the qualities that promote interpersonal leadership in the service of improving the quality of life and outcomes for these children and their families. The Fellowship involves a Core Curriculum with 13 courses and a Mentored Research Project.  Each LEND fellow attends classes, conducts a research project and participates in a Community Education & Liaison Program and Family Collaboration Program.  This LEND OT position is 16-hours per week for 1-year only (July 2013 through June 2014).
