  3. paranoia (noun) an irrational fear of danger Her paranoia of bugs led her to believe that they were trying to kill her.

  4. manipulate (verb) to move, operate or handle The puppet was manipulated by a set of strings and the puppeteer.

  5. tremulous (adjective) trembling, unsteady He became tremulous with fear when he had to give his speech.

  6. oblivious (adjective) completely unaware, paying no attention The man was oblivious to the danger ahead of him.

  7. sublime (adjective) supreme, splendid, the best The beaches in the Caribbean are sublime.

  8. personification Giving human traits to something non-human. Example: “Now the fire lay in beds, stood in windows…”
