Why Program Prioritization? • Need to strengthen core academic programs and prioritize new areas for investment • Assure that we are strategic in moving forward • Address challenges from demographic trends, economic conditions and alternative delivery models

Roles and Responsibilities Champions: Support task force co-chairs, remove obstacles to completion, help process stay on track Facilitation Group: Provides data from centralized databases (enrollment, financial, …) Consultant: Larry Goldstein – provides expertise and advice Task Force Members: Design process, conduct review, report results
Guiding Principles • Holistic Judgment Process – Consider Many Factors • Qualitative as well as Quantitative Data • Quality Metrics as well as Financial Metrics • Fair, Transparent, Inclusive Process • Task Force Members exhibit a “trustee mentality” • Inquiry vs. advocacy; steward vs. delegate
