  4. Art • Have you ever seen any of those African robes? You might have seen them in dances. • Or any of those paper necklaces, and weavings? • Sometimes masks. Well that’s art!!! Ready to Dance?

  5. Music • The Africans mostly use drums in their music. • Sometimes even steel drums and maracas.

  6. Languages • Did you know that Ghana’s official language is English? • In some part of Ghana the people speak Akan & Ga-Dangme Hi

  7. Geography • The highest mountain in Ghana is Mount Afadjato

  8. People • The population of Ghana is 24 million • 45% of Ghana speak Akan

  9. Religion • 69% is Christian • 16% is Muslim • 8% Traditional • 6% No Religion • 1% Other

  10. Education • Only 71% of men in Ghana have had education. • Only 58% of women in Ghana have had education. • Most kids start school at age 3-4 years old
