  3. GOVERNMENT • Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil the president of India. • The President of India is the head of state elected indirectly by an electoral college for a five-year term. • The Prime minister is the head of government and exercises most executive powers.

  4. LOCATION • India is by the borders of Pakistan, Myanmar, China, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. • The northern part of the country is walled by the Mighty Himalayas. • Southern part has the coasts of Arabian sea in the west.

  5. MAJOR CITIES • New Delhi the capital city of India • Other major cities of India= Agra, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkota

  6. CLIMATE • It can be divided in mainly into three climates zones namely Sub- tropical, Tropical and Arid. Purple= Montane Blue=Humid subtropical Green =torpical Red=Arid

POPULATION, AREA AND CURRENCY • Population=India's estimated population to be 1,129,866,154. • Area=India, the sixth largest country in the world, extends over 3.28 million square kilometers and is approximately one third the size of China. • Currency= In India currency is called Indian rupee.
