ICD10 Cont. • AHCCCS Project Approach • “Native” processing (ICD9 codes distinct from ICD10 codes) including review and remediation of impacted policies and processes • Use of GEMS as a points for reference/validation only • Distinct Reference tables within PMMIS to house ICD10 diagnosis and procedures as well as related information • Policy review and remediation for “intent” of policy • Support beta, early Trading Partner and end to end testing whenever feasible
ICD10 Cont. • Contractor Milestone Reporting to begin in May/June • Contractors will be provided with and will be required to successfully execute a defined set of test scenarios
