Conference Overview and Goals • The purpose of this conference is to bring together all interested people, groups and agencies to learn about and plan for a more economically and ecologically sustainable Tallapoosa River Basin. • Our goal is to present relevant and current information for the interested non-specialist, with questions, feedback, and discussion encouraged. • How can legitimate but diverse interests for land and water use be optimized? • What will the Tallapoosa River Basin look like in 20 years, and is that something we’ll be proud of?
