SHOOTING SCHEDULE • 05 MAR – DANAELI IS GOING TO FILM GENESIS AND MELODY AT HER CHURCH. • 07 MAR – 08 MAR – WE ARE GOING TO FILM THIS WEEKEND. (SAT&SUN). WE WILL MEET AT RILEY’S HOUSE AND FILM SCENE 4, WHERE SOFIA SHOOTS GABBI. BOTH MARCELA AND DANAELI ARE ABLE TO GO TO GET TO THE HOUSE THIS DAY. • 14 MAR – 15 MAR – MARCELA IS GOING TO RILEY’S HOUSE TO FILM THE SCENE OF HER GETTING HOME, CHECKING HER COMPUTER, AND GETTING THE GUN OUT OF HER DRESSER.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE • 17 MAR – RILEY IS GOING TO FILM THE LAST SCENE WHERE THE TITLE WILL APPEAR. • 21 MAR – WE WILL ALL MEET AT RILEY’S HOUSE TO FILM THE SCENE OF THE GIRLS WALKING DOWN THE STREET AND JASON COMING UP TO ASK GABBI OUT. • 22 MAR – 28 MAR – SPRING BREAK, UNDECIDED. MIGHT RE-FILM OR SPEND TIME ON CONCEPTING. • 30 MAR – EDITING IS TO START ON THE MONDAY AFTER WE’RE DONE FILMING. • 1 APR – UNDECIDED
SHOOTING SCRIPT • Scene I: • “old film” of young Gabbi and Sofia running around in a backyard, giggling • Camera – follows girls running around • Weather –a sunny day • Scene II: • Girls talking together whilst walking down the street • Camera – angled down on the girls • Jason walks up to Gabbi and asks her out • Jason and Gabbi walk away together and Sofia is left alone, angry • Camera – over the shoulder of Jason • Weather – sunny day
SHOOTING SCRIPT • Scene III: • Sofia goes home and goes on laptop • Goes onto Gabbi’s twitter and sees her mass likes whilst her own twitter is lame • Subtle clues to her mental disorders • Sofia gets a gun out of her dresser drawer and leaves the room • Camera – on one side of the room; an open shot • Light – a dimly lit room
SHOOTING SCRIPT • Scene IV: • Sofia knocks on Gabbi’s door • Camera – behind Gabbi’s back • Talk – “Did you lose your phone?” • Camera – behind Sofia’s back • Gabbi lets Sofia inside and leads to her room • Camera – inside Gabbi’s room • Gabbi looking on dresser (in front of mirror) • (in mirror) Sofia pulls out gun whilst Gabbi’s head is down • Camera – angled behind Sofia

TITLE • The title of our film is “Code-187” • We chose this title because the number 187 is the police for a homicide. • The title will appear after Scene IV where the gun goes off. During Scene V, the camera will pan up from the house and reveal the title in white. It will stay whilst the background fades to black.
SOUND • The sound in Code-187 will emphasize the mystery and suspense of the story. • Scene I • Diegetic sound of the girls laughing. • Scene II • Diegetic sound of the girls talking and Jason coming up to ask Gabbi out. • Scene II • Diegetic sound of Sofia typing, clicking, and receiving notifications. • Non-diegetic intense music when Sofia gets out the gun.
Sound • Scene III • Diegetic sound of Sofia knocking on door, Gabbi opening door, and girls talking. • Non-diegetic scary music to set the mood. • Scene IV • Diegetic sound of Sofia knocking on door, Gabbi opening door, and girls talking. • Non-diegetic scary music to set the mood. • Scene V • Non-diegetic sound of gunshot and loud, scary music.
Location List Riley’s House Riley’s house is the main set for the entire opening scene. The street in front will be used for Scene II.
Location List Riley’s room will be used as Sofia’s room because it is dark. Taylor’s (Riley’s sister) room will be used as Gabbi’s room because it is bright.
Location List Riley’s backyard and door will be used in Scene IV as Sofia’s entry point. Danaeli’s church is being used in Scene I as the field the girls are running around in.

Health and Safety • We are signing out equipment from our media studies teacher. • We are filming in Riley’s house, which is a safe and secure location. • The toy-gun we are using is Broward School Board-approved. It has a neon orange tip so it cannot be mistaken for a real gun. • It’s about as Broward School Board approved as a gun can get.
