Adjective usage • Adjectives are describing words; they describe/modify something else. • Some adjectives can be used to describe things and people: • That was a wonderfulidea. • He was wonderful. • Some adjectives are not used to describe people: • She had a subsequentmeeting. • He committed asubsequentoffense. • NO: He was subsequent.
