#1 Linking • Starts with an equals sign (a link is a formula!) • Dynamically joins data • Automatically updates • Much safer then copying and pasting

#2 Text To Columns • Lots of text in one cell • Highlight the column • Use the Text to Column button • Data Ribbon • Select the proper delimiter

# 3 The Fill Handle • Little Black Box • Left click and drag down • Establish the pattern! • Double clicking can save lots of time

# 4 Deleting Duplicates • Highlight your list • Select delete duplicates • Data Ribbon • Select the correct column • Excel leaves the 1st instance and deletes the rest
