This study examines the impact of GradesFirst campaign on course performance and the effectiveness of Math Lab Tutoring Service in improving student outcomes. The results highlight the need for improved communication, effective study strategies, and increased resources to enhance student success.

GradesFirst Campaign: Participating instructors alerted the Student Success Team (SST) at W2, W5, and W10 if a student showed early sign(s) of being at risk of failing (< C-). SST then attempted contact and intervention. Q2. How effective is Math Lab Tutoring Service (Bayramian Hall) in improving course performance? Guiding Questions

Concluding Thoughts GradesFirst Campaign • Improve communication between students & instructors; provide effective study & note-taking strategy (possibly by peer mentors) BH Math Lab Tutoring Service • Embed tutoring plans to best utilize resources (# of tutors, appt availability) and to increase equity in course success CSBS Student Success Team (SST) Efforts • Increase resources (e.g., staff, peer-mentors) available to the SST to persistently implement multi-prong early intervention strategies • Increase exposure of the SST efforts to studentsand faculty to best align resources and student success goals
