  15. Education in Fiji There is a move away from religious education in state schools. Christian Schools are finding it difficult to stay afloat due to lack of finances. There is a great need for training of Christian teachers. Numeracy and literacy standards need to be raised. Fijians need help in setting up finance generating activities.
