22. NOW WE MUST GET INTO THE ENERGY BALANCE REALM AGAIN AND TALK REAL NUMBERS FOR REAL DEVICES: I.E. AUTOMOBILES • What sort of energy use does an average automobile involve? Can we say 2 gallons per hour, 60 MPH, 30 MPG? • At 22,000 BTU per lbm of gas, that’s 6 *2 *22,000 =224,000 BTU per hour. Since a KW = 3413 BTU/Hr, this is 77 KW of energy, let’s SAY 77,000 WATTS of energy • One of your HHO Units does 19 AMPS at 12 Volts. SO on a straight H2 O2 basis, this is 240 watts of H2 and O2, right? How about the real electrolysis voltage, about 2.5 Volts? That times 19 amps yields 60 watts. • Let’s say we GOT IT FOR FREE (not true), what would it add to the output of the engine: 60/77,000 or 0.1% more output. • So whence the 30% mileage gain?

The Otto Cycle is one of the Most Calculated, Analyzed, Taught, Discussed, Thermodynamic Cycles in the World! • And no matter which way you cut it, it gives a max efficiency of 47% for conversion to mechanical energy from the BURN. • What is the REAL efficiency of the standard auto engine? About 23% Why? Friction losses, in-ability to pre-compress the air, etc. These are all well studied.

HOW DOES THE H2 O2 ADDITION COMPARE WITH THE FLOW THROUGH THE ENGINE? • We have “hand waving” allegations, that the HHO, results in “better combustion”. • Consider this: A standard fuel injected engine has an almost ideal AIR/FUEL mixture. • The combustion is to pure CO2 and H2O. • The input air at 60 MPH is about 5 lbm of air per minute. THIS TRANSLATES to about 75 cubic feet of air per minute. This means 75 *28 = 2100 liters per minute. THUS 2 liters per minute of H2 and O2 is a .1% volumetric change.

26. WHY WOULDN’T THE EXTRA O2 AND H2 MAKE MUCH DIFFERENCE? • Answer: Because if it did, in the quantities involved, we’d see our mileage varying all over the place because of – • Changes in density altitude • Changes in OCTANE. 29. WHERE DOES THIS LEAD US? • Remember the Start? IT’S NOT HHO!!! HHO is a “mythical creature”. A beast which some people THINK exists. (There are unicorns and Yette to chase too in the world.) Oriani, however, has pointed us towards another “heuristic conclusion”, i.e. there is SOMETHING UNKNOWN produced in electrolysis devices. It appears to be produced more pronouncedly in “multi plate devices”. When this “mysterious” substance is added to a standard “combustion plasma” (according to the definition of a plasma, standard combustion IS a plasma) it would seem enough of these Alpha Bursts occur to add a significant amount to the combustion energy.
