Principles which undergird empowered Ministry • Dreams are the language of the Holy Spirit. (see Acts 2:17-18) • Permission giving. • Words/ works/ deeds of the Kingdom. (Luke 4:16-19) • Partnerships with schools. • Structures that support and are fluid. • Helpful use of technology.
Principles which undergird empowered Ministry • We are called to serve. • Base for ministry can be anywhere. • Catching waves. • Christ centred –community facing. • Being clear about what you are called to and what you are not called to. • Leadership and church being open to the Holy Spirit.
Opportunities • Internationals. • More people in rural communities. • Hospitality. • Eugene Peterson –people, place and witness. • Seasons. • People on lifestyle blocks.
2 A caring church • Koinonia –what we share in together. • Koinonia –what we share outward together.
4 An evangelising church(Acts 2:47) • The Lord Jesus did it Himself. • He did 2 things – ‘He added to their fellowship those who were being saved’ • He did it every day.
People drawn to the well of Christ’s church – a ‘safe place’ to question and experience the love of God.
